pāua seed silver necklace

This pāua seed silver necklace is carved from the inner part of full size shells, carefully shaped and sanded down to resemble what it once looked like. The inside layer you see on baby paua shells has grown through the shell and is hidden under the outside shell layer. This is the layer that you now see revealed on the outside. 

Two of the pieces are joined together, so both sides are similar and it takes the shape of a seed. It is sanded and polished for an iridescent finish. The finished result represents rediscovering the beauty of youthful mindfulness.

This pendant is one of a kind. We only have two of these left and won’t be making any more.
